Lighting is key in shooting on a set. There are different types and forms of light that can make or break a picture or video. With whatever light you decide to use you want to make your subject look good.
In my Advanced TV Production class, we were assigned to do a lighting project that displayed different types of light. By taking photos of other classmates we were able to show off various lighting. Using Jasmine Robbins as my subject I portrayed Split lighting, Rembrant lighting, and using a flash light a fearful subject.
Here are my shots:
First shot: 90 degree or Split Lighting-the main or key light is placed at eye level and 90 degrees to the side of Jasmine.
Second Shot: Using just a flash with no other lights on, it shows a fearful jasmine as if someone or thing is after her.
