In my TV production class this semester we are learning about video sequence shooting also known as the "Five Shot Method". By whatever name the thought process involves planning shots step by step and seeing the video in your mind before and during the shoot.
For my example I choose to show the five step method on playing pool, a daily activity in the Bulldog Student Center.
Wide Shot: Here is a wide shot of a student planning his shot after the opening shot which is called the break.
Medium Shot (Closeup of the hands): Here is a closeup of the hands on the cue getting ready for the shot.
Medium Shot (Closeup of the face): Here is a closeup of a student focusing and angling his cue for his shot.
Over the shoulder: Here is a over the shoulder shot of the table and a student getting ready to take his shot.
Unusual/Alternative: Here is just a shot of the table in the middle of the game. Seems like anybody's game right??
