Twitter has become a pivotal aspect in everyday life. Twitter is a fast and easy to say what you are doing or keep up with sporting events. It is also a way to keep up with people that you don't see on a daily basis. I use twitter to tweet how I feel or say something I want the world to see. I also use it to meet new people as well as keep up with the old people I don't see. Also I use it to see sports updates and reports and get the latest news in the sports world.

Twitter was created and launched in 2006 by Jack Dorsey. Jack, one of the worlds best innovators, was surprised by how quickly people came to his idea and used it. Twitter has over 500 million users and gets 340 million tweets per day. In an interview with 60 Minutes they reveal that just like Steve Jobs that Jack was forced out of helping run the company he founded as a result of a lack of communication but they brought him back a few years later.

Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to send and read short 140-character messages called tweets. In the interview with 60 Minutes Jack disclosed how he came up the idea of the 140 characters. Twitter is used in all aspects of from sports to jobs to restaurants. It has become such a mainstream in everyday life because it is a quick and easy to find information in different fields. Teams use it to update fans on their team while news station use it to give update on the latest news.

Three pages I follow are NFL Update, ESPN College Football, and the NBA page. I follow them to keep up and get the various updates in the respective sports. Keeping up with sports is a must considering my love and passion for sports.
